 Lucas Mill machines received an excellent response as a sustainable method for harvesting timber into the future. In particular the response from the Governor and the Head to the Forestry department in Papua was very positive following demonstations and training by Indonesian distributor for Lucas Mill.

In the past Lucas Mill has hosted training visits with distributors from Papua New Guinea.

These visits are just one example of the number of activities Lucas Mill engages in to ensure that our representatives around the world are well trained and informed, and able to deliver the best standard of customer service possible.

David Bolstad - World Champion axeman, 4 time Sthil Timbersports champion and New Zealand Lucas Mill owner / operator and agent has represented Lucas Mill at the USA Great Portable Sawmill Shootout since 2003. The Shootout results have been no less spectacular than his achievements on the axe.

For the first time in the history of the series, one competitor has stepped up to snatch all of the top prizes across the 6 stages of the world championship timbersports event. David Bolstad from New Zealand has sealed his name in the history books for the games, outshining the best of the best to take home the top prize, 23 score points ahead of his nearest rival.
